What is your cancellation/changes policy?

For advanced bookings there is a 3-night minimum during peak season and 2 nights minimum during low season.  A credit card deposit is required at time of booking for cabins and full payment is required for RV Park reservations. Notice of intent to cancel in 2024 or 2025 must be received 21 days prior to arrival date for refund less a $60 administration fee. There are no refunds within 21 days of arrival or for early departure.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

For our cabins and RV glamping, check-in begins at 4pm and check out time is no later than 11am.

For RV camping stays, check-in begins at 1pm and check out no later than 11am.

Due to the extended time required for cleaning to our communicable disease prevention plan standards, the check in and check out times are now firm with no early check ins or late checks out allowed at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you offer tent sites in the RV Park?

Our RV Park caters specifically to recreational vehicles only and for this reason we are unable to accommodate tent camping or car/vehicle camping within our facility.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes, we are a 100% pet friendly resort.  There is a $60 fee per pet, per visit in the cabins and glampers. This is not per night.

In the RV Park, there is a $10 fee per pet. For our cabin and glamper guests, we will supply towels, bowls and a blanket for your pet to use while you stay with us.  View all our pet-friendly amenities.

Do you provide WiFi?

We do offer free WiFi to all cabin and RV guests.

Is there a minimum nights stay?

There is a 3 night minimum for reservations during peak season and on all holidays and long weekends (including spring break).  There is a 2 night minimum at all other times.

Is there a restaurant on site?

We do not have a restaurant on site, however there are many great restaurants close by and all our cabins are equipped with kitchens.  We do have a coffee bar on site that serves Starbucks coffee and snacks (cookies, muffins, etc.).

Is there a grocery store close by? Liquor store?

Groceries can be purchased in town, or just across the road from Crystal Cove. Beer, wine and spirits can be purchased in town.

Do your cabins have cable TV?

Yes, all of our cabins have cable television and a DVD player. DVDs are complimentary to borrow from the office. View the complete list of cabin amenities here.

How far from Tofino is Crystal Cove?

We are 3 km from the town of Tofino.

How far is Long Beach?

Pacific Rim National Park and the famous Long Beach is approximately 10 km from Crystal Cove.

Is the ocean warm enough to swim in?

The ocean temperature ranges from  7-14 degrees Celcius (44-58 degrees Fahrenheit). Wetsuits are recommended.

Is there a swimming pool or communal hot tub?

Some cabins have private hot tubs, and the Rainforest Cabins have access to two large shared hot tubs. There is no swimming pool or communal hot tub.

Can you provide playpens and high chairs?

Yes, if you require a playpen or high chair, please be sure to make this request when you make your reservation. View the complete list of cabin amenities here.

Please note that we do not provide baby gates, but guests may use their own.

Do you provide cooking utensils?

All our kitchens are well equipped with everything you need for cooking. All cabins also have a BBQ. View the complete list of cabin amenities here.

Do I need to bring linens, towels, cookware, firewood, propane, etc?

Are fires allowed on Mackenzie Beach?

Beach fires are permitted in a portable fire pit that is raised off the ground and contains ventilation for hotter, cleaner burning. Burning of driftwood of any size is strictly prohibited.

Beach fires may be banned at anytime if fire restrictions are put in place by the District during the dry summer season.

Can I use my drone?

Can I use fireworks?

In the District of Tofino, a person who is eighteen (18) years or older may use Consumer Fireworks between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and midnight on January 1, July 1, July 4, October 31, December 31 of any year.
